Kerambitan Festival Opened By Regent of Tabanan Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti

The Second Kerambitan Festival opened by The Regent of Tabanan Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti in Square Kerambitan village on Friday evening, October 7, 2016. The opening of Kerambitan Festival which is also in the framework of the 523 Anniversary of Tabanan City, it was marked by lighting the torch.
Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti give a positive appreciation by convening kerambitan festival. "I hope the arts and cultural events made an annual every years,” she said. Regent Eka added, kerambitan festival is also a series of the 523 Anniversary of Tabanan City. No longer centered in the city, but implemented in each district.
I Gede Sukanada as head of kerambitan district expressed his gratitude for the Regent of Tabanan, Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti willing to open the second kerambitan festival.“The aim of this festival to maintaining the activities of art for future generations,” he said. The festival is supported by the 15 villages in Kerambitan district involving hundreds of artists.
On opening night Kerambitan Festival displayed a variety of dances. Among Bungan Sandat Serasi dance as mascot Tabanan regency dance, modern dance performances by youth of Kerambitan, as the top event featured tektekan and okokan danc perform.
The festival, held from October 7 to October 9, 2016 will be filled with a variety of activities including arts and culture , tektekan mass dance and culinary village flavor, coloring contest, Balinese speech contest, ngelawar contest , djoged bungbung kerambitan dance, jegeg bagus kerambitan. And at the end the event was held healthy elderly contest, color work, extreme magician, and celekontong mas performing.
