Regent of Tabanan, Bali Province  Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti be one of the speakers at the forum inspiration water for all, in Epicentrum Wall, Jl. HR. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Wednesday, October 26, 2016

This program was held by the Network Working Group Water Supply and Sanitation. Bringing inspiration-inspiration directly involved in achieving the target of universal access.


Regent Eka feel proud because it is believed to be one of inspiration in this forum. Although Tabanan regency revenue is small,  but Tabanan regency committed to the success of universal access. "We have a lot of programs, one of which community participation in building water channels. There are three locations of springs largest in Tabanan, and we have a target in 2019 of all the people in Tabanan has access to clean water," said Eka.
Additionally, Tabanan also will implement the Waste Water Treatment Plant, which is managing the waste or feces into the water. "This program is an assistance from the central government and the World Bank, where our target to manage the waste into fertilizer and subsidy we will be free to the farmers for their commitment should have a waste bank," said Eka.

Minister of National Development Planning ,Bambang Brodjonegoro said, one of the biggest challenges Indonesia today is still high children who are stunted due to malnutrition, and lack of access to clean water and sanitation. According to him, today Indonesia it is experiencing a demographic bonus, where the numbers groups of young people are very large compared to the elderly. However, the challenge is to make the population of productive age is beneficial for the country. "We want the population of productive age have had a good quality of life, so the workforce is needed. Since a third of children aged under five suffer stunted growth, the more danger is interference skills and ability to work," said Bambang.He asks each region and non-governmental organizations to monitor these issues with a focus on improving nutrition. "We must ensure access to clean water and sanitation in every household in Indonesia, and make sure that access is easy," said Bambang.
