Minister of State Owned Enterprises Rini M Sumarno inaugurated Pinge Tourism Village, in Baru Village, District Marga, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province, Friday, November 11, 2016.

"Pinge Tourism Village could be an example of another development for tourism village," said Rini M Sumarno She said that, the government has targeting foreign tourists visit in 2019  many as 20 million. But tourism development is not just to build hotel, but how to build things that are attractive based authenticity and local wisdom. "We are not only increasing the number of visits but how people are more prosperous," She said.

Director of ITDC, Abdulbar M Mansoer said " Development Program of  Pinge Tourism Village held to welcome the idea  and e concept of tourism made by President Joko Widodo on  mid-October.  Which is combines the tourism village potential. This activity is a national program to build synergy tourism tourist villages in areas of national strategic tourism. Expected in the future we can generate more of a tourism village in our country. And contribute to improving the economy of the community,” he said.

Pinge village is one of the villages that have been set by Tabanan Regency as a tourism village. The village has an area of 145 ha consisting of 160 heads of household or 810 inhabitants and is located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. With enchanting natural charm and cultural richness such as woodcarving, craft musical instruments, local culinary and dance. Pinge Village has great potential become a mainstay tourist destinations in the future.

Pinge Tourism Village development is a continuation of the development of Borobudur Tourism Village which officially began construction last week. "If the Tourism Village Borobudur was developed with the concept of building Hall Village Economy, Pinge Tourism Village was developed with the concept of a more thorough form of improved infrastructure and tourism infrastructure such as Tourist Information Center (TIC), facility improvements such as improving the quality of homestay and mentoring both sustainable Related community hospitality, management and marketing training. According to her there are 41  tourism villages  in Tabanan also need similar attention. " In future our target the whole village in Tabanan into a tourism  village. They have special a characteristic one and each other," She explained.
