Prevent Double Voter, Tabanan G E C Holds Updating Voter Data

Tabanan General Election Commission held a continuous updating of the voters' data on Thursday, November 24, 2016.  Updating voter data which aims to prevent double voting in the election for governor of Bali in 2018. It was led by the Chairman of the Tabanan GEC Luh Darayoni, accompanied by four commissioners Narta Ketut, Wayan Sutama, Gede  Subawa, and Luh Sunadi. Also present were representatives of eight representative districts, while two districts, Penebel and Kerambitan absent.

In the updating of these data revealed there are still many people who have not been recorded E-ID Card.  In eight district were present, as many as 12 874 residents who have not been recorded  E-ID Card. Penebel and Kerambitan district are not present in the data update,  total citizens who have not been recorded E-ID card can reach 17 thousand people.

"There are 6000 citizens in Kediri District have not recorded, repeatedly invited many do not attend to recorded," said I Wayan Sutama as Data Program Division in Tabanan GEC. It is a major constraint in the updating voter data for Bali Governor Election in 2018.  There are many problem face by Tabanan GEC. But that did not make Tabanan GEC  give up and will continue to socialize with drops directly to the public.
