Balanusa Non-Government Organization held nationality seminar with the theme of Nationalist in Character, Worldwide in the work on Thursday, June 29, 2017. The seminar and workshop presented I Made Andi Arsana Ph.D. lecturer of Gadjah Mada University.

Andi Arsana is local boys. He was born ini Tegal Jadi Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency. Now he’s the head of International affair office Gadjah Mada University. He presentation very interesting. From he was a child until he lecture in Gadjah Mada University. And he share his experience in assignments to 44 countries, and to 5 continents.


He who graduated Ph.D. in Australia said that Indonesia is a rich country. Indonesia stretch from west to east along 5000 Kilometers. "While the stretch of America alone is only 4000 kilometers," he said. Indonesia has 17 thousand islands, 34 provinces and 260 million inhabitants. "Indonesia is like sugar," he explained. Today, the ranking of Indonesia's economy  8th  of 200 countries. In 2030 it will require 113 million skilled workers in the fields of knowledge, technology and mathematics. "Based on the survey of an international institution in 2050 Indonesia ranked 4th of world economic power," he explained. At that time there will be ease of doing business, the role of the internet strengthened, the consumer is easy to change and innovation is the key. "So education is the key," he said. Because in the future battle in the world is no longer a weapon but an intellectual battle.

He also asserted that children and young people begin to learn English. Because, international language is able to communicate and seize the opportunity to take part in the international world.
