Regent Eka : Every Village has A Garbage Bank in 2018

The Regent of Tabanan Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti has target in 2018 every village has a garbage bank. The statement was expressed by Eka during the thanksgiving event won trophy of Adipura on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
She said to succeed this target can be done by making some villages as pilot project handling garbage. Because if done in 133 villages at a time will take a long time. This model can be done in 3 - 4 villages with different variations such as compost house, energy house, garbage bank, and so on.
"If there is no example then the community will become indifferent, hopefully if there is an example, every village can see, their village fits what kind of waste management? And most importantly people should not consider this waste problem as a disaster but with well managed can be a blessing, "She explained.
She added that school children are also taught the importance of the dangers of waste, especially the dangers of plastic waste. She hopes for cooperation between the community and the government in handling this garbage problem. RRBNC
