DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Bali Covid 19 Task Force Task Force Chair, Dewa Made Indra appealed to the Balinese people to remain vigilant and even increase their vigilance because the spread of covid-19 shows an increasing trend at the national level. This was expressed in Denpasar, Saturday (April 4, 2020)

Dewa Indra stated, Covid-19 is not something that can be underestimated, but must be faced with high vigilance. For this reason, the Task Force appealed to the Indigenous Village-Based Mutual Assistance Task Force and the Covid-19 Task Force at the Village level to synergize, including uniting posts and jointly conducting surveillance and education to all communities, especially Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) who have just come to Bali.

The Task Force also appealed to residents who had just returned from abroad and from outside the area to carry out independent quarantine or self-isolation at home for at least 14 days by implementing self-isolation protocols, full of discipline and responsibility for family and community safety in its environment.

Regarding restrictions on residents entering through the port of Gilimanuk and Ngurah Rai Airport, Dewa Made Indra stressed, the task force's strategy was to build a strong fortress because the covid came from outside. For example, Ngurah Rai Airport on domestic arrivals, which had not previously been inspected, has now carried out a response to body temperature checks, rapid tests to passengers whose history came from abroad. In addition, his side has cooperated with the Airport authorities to put a special lane banner for passengers coming from the red zone, Indonesian Migrant Workers and Foreign Citizens.
