The Second Graduation of Politeknik Internasional Bali, Prof. Sulis: Graduates from PIB Must be Creative, Have New Ideas, Change Mindset Towards Positive.

The Second Graduation of Politeknik Internasional Bali,

TABANAN, Balitopnews.com – Politeknik Internasional Bali, (PIB) held The 2nd graduation which took place at the PIB Campus, Jalan Pantai Nyanyi, Beraban Village, Tanah Lot, Tabanan, Bali, Friday (November 19,2021).

 

Established in 2017, under the auspices of the Bali International Training & Development Center (BITDeC) Foundation. PIB has 148 students spread across three study programs, namely 70 students in the Diploma Three Culinary Arts Study Program, 47 students in the Diploma Four Hospitality Management Study Program, and 31 students in the Four Convention and Event Management Study Program. These study programs have the status of university accreditation.

A total of 21 students graduated on Friday morning. Among them 17 students graduated from Diploma Three Culinary Arts and 4 students graduated from Diploma Four in Hospitality Management. Graduates of Diploma Three Culinary Arts are entitled to hold the title of A.Md.Par and graduates of Diploma Four of Hospitality Management are entitled to hold the title of S.Tr.Par.

 

Director of the Politeknik Internasional Bali (PIB) Prof. Dr. Ir. Anastasia Sulistyawati, M.M., M.S., M.Mis., D.Th., Ph.D emphasized that all graduates must pass a series of certifications that are graduation requirements. Graduates and graduates from the Diploma Three Culinary Arts Study Program must take competency certification, in the form of competency certification in food processing and bread and cake making.


 

Meanwhile, graduates from the Diploma Four Hospitality Management Study Program follow the front office and bartender competency certification scheme. In addition, all graduates have taken the TOEIC test to measure English language skills.

 

“This PIB in addition to producing superior human resources in the tourism industry, also forms a good character and is able to compete in the midst of global competition. We are also a good combination of skill and character. One of the superior strengths that can lead academics to success in the future, "Prof. Sulistyawati said


 

She also hopes for all students who have graduated, even though the current Covid-19 pandemic is a new challenge. Out of this PIB you have to start being creative, have new ideas and thoughts, change your mindset towards a positive.

 

"What does it mean to show that we are capable, apart from competing, being able to work professionally and being able to become entrepreneurs in the tourism sector," Prof. Sulistyawati said. 

 

Meanwhile, the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (L2DIKTI) region VIII, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Dasi Astawa, MSi said he has monitored since the establishment of the Politeknik Internasional Bali as well as its current development. "Everything goes on the track," he said. He advised the graduates to have love, intelligence, integrity, norms, transformational and love. "Of course, don't be lazy, and starting tomorrow, don't ask your parents for money anymore. Must start independently. I'm sure you can. Because the only one who can change you is yourself,” he said to the graduates.


 

Two graduates, each of Cathlin Theresa Tania, holds the best graduate from the Third Diploma in Culinary Arts, while Georgiana Franita Puspitasari holds the best graduate from the Fourth Diploma in Hospitality Management. “Four years is a fast time, we feel many colors while studying at the Bali International Polytechnic. We thank the founding fathers of PIB, the Director, the lecturers, friends, and all the PIB academic community. We will always uphold the good name of the campus wherever we are.
