Tourists Can Enjoy The Kharisma Event Nusantara

DENPASAR,Balitopnews.com - Bali tourism is getting back on its feet in line with the easing provided by the government. Complementing the concept of cultural tourism promoted by the island, nicknamed The Last Paradise in The World, the Bali Provincial Government has prepared leading cultural events in Bali to be included in the list of National Cultural events known as Kharisma Event Nusantara.

Of the many cultural events in Bali, there are 7 (seven) events that qualify for the list of Kharisma Event Nusantara of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy 2022, namely: the Festival, namely the Bali Spirit Festival, Bali Arts Festival, Ubud Village Jazz Festival, Sanur Village Festival , Pemuteran Bay Festival, Denpasar Festival, and Penglipuran Village Festival.

 The timing of the event is as follows:

1. Bali Spirit Festival May 29, 2022 – June 10, 2022, in Ubud

2. Bali Arts Festival June 12,2022 - July 10, 2022, in Denpasar

3. Ubud Village Jazz Festival August 12-13, 2022, in Ubud

4. Sanur Village Festival August 19 -22, 2022, in Sanur.

5. Pemuteran Bay Festival November 11-13, 2022, in Buleleng

6. Denpasar Festival end of November – December 24, 2022 in Denpasar

7. Penglipuran Village Festival  December 7-10, 2022, in Bangli.

 

 

Through Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) these events will be promoted worldwide along with events from other regions in Indonesia.

So, for tourists who come to Bali, apart from enjoying the nature and culture of Bali, they will also be able to enjoy the festival according to the existing schedule, so that there will be a variety of cultural attractions when they are in Bali.

The holding of these seven festivals is expected to show the world that Bali tourism has risen and is ready to be visited.

There is no question of safety and comfort. Because all Balinese people are very aware of maintaining the safety and comfort of tourists, especially after the pandemic.

The head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, Tjok Bagus Pemayun, said that these seven festivals are an option for potential tourists who will vacation in Bali.

"So they can plan and choose what month they think they will come on vacation to Bali and what festivals they will be able to enjoy. Because almost every month there are festivals that will be presented," he said recently.

On this occasion, Tjok Bagus also conveyed the total number of visits by foreign tourists who had come on vacation to Bali. He said, as of April 5, 2022, there have been as many as 14,430 people who have used VoA services.

 He emphasized that the increase in tourist visits is also inseparable from the herd immunity that has been formed. The vaccination achievement exceeded the target of 30 percent of Bali's population of approximately 4 million people.

From the data of the Covid-19 Task Force, as of April 14, 2022, booster vaccinations in Bali Province reached 57.49%. All areas have reached above 40%. The highest in Denpasar reached 76.32%. "Balinese people are very disciplined in following health protocols," he said.

The head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, Tjok Bagus Pemayun, revealed seven festivals that will be held in Bali. This festival, he said, also invites SMEs to get involved.

That said, for Bali Spirit Festival is a fun festival that brings together yoga, music, and dance into one fun event. Held in Ubud every year, this event has grown over the years, to such an extent that it attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world

Furthermore, the Bali Arts Festival (PKB) is an annual arts parade or festival initiated by the Bali Provincial Government, and is used as a forum for the activities and creativity of artists in an effort to support government programs in terms of extracting, preserving, and developing Balinese artistic and cultural values.

Next, Ubud Village Jazz Festival is a music festival located in the artistic environment of Ubud Bali, Indonesia. Since 2010, Yuri Mahatma, a musician/composer/music teacher, and founder of the Underground Jazz Movement along with Anom Darsana, director and owner of ANTIDA Music Productions, have worked together on several regular jazz concert projects, each time with a different theme.

Then, the Sanur Village Festival (SVF) is an annual folk party organized by the Sanur Development Foundation (YPS) located in the Sanur Beach area. "SVF is a combination of several large-scale activities related to food festivals, creative economy exhibitions, various contests and competitions, cultural arts attractions, music, and various types of environmentally friendly activities. Here are some activities that are held every year," he said.

Regarding the Pemuteran Bay Festival, Tjok Bagus explained that this festival covers all forms of cultural arts and environmental conservation such as community-based coral reef conservation with biorock technology, Gebug Ende cultural heritage, beach art parade, arts and culture competitions, art and craft production exhibitions. in order to improve the quality of community-based, cultured, environmentally friendly tourism.

Meanwhile, he continued, the Denpasar Festival or Denfest is an arts and culture festival held as a venue for various artistic and cultural expressions, both traditional, modern and avant-garde nuances that fulfill aspects including: displaying, selling, inspiring, transforming, entertaining and educating.

"Next is the Penglipuran Village Festival located in Penglipuran Village with the theme of Green Destination based on cleanliness, health, safety and the environment (CHSE) which is carried out in collaboration with all stakeholders while still paying attention to health protocols.
