GIANYAR,Balitopnews.com - After being successful in 9 regencies/cities, now The TP PKK Bali Provincial chaired by Putri Koster has again carried out the Devotion and Sharing program which started from Gianyar Regency.
Different from before, which only visited one village in each Regency/City, now the Chairperson of the TP PKK Bali Province Putri Koster, visited two villages at once. The morning activity took place at the Wantilan Temple Penataran Sasih, Pejeng Village and Griya Taksu-Kemenuh Village, Gianyar on Wednesday (May 11, 2022)
In her speech, Putri Koster said that the social action activities of filial piety and sharing that were carried out in all regencies/cities throughout Bali were not only aimed at providing assistance but more importantly in this social action going directly to the field and seeing firsthand the condition of the community, being devoted and sharing by touching directly with the community such as under-nourished / malnourished toddlers, pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (KEK), the elderly, people with disabilities and PKK cadres, all of which aim to help and ease the burden on the community.
The woman who is familiarly called Bunda Putri added that the PKK in its movement in the community has two main activities, namely socialization and social action. Where in the movement of PKK cadres from the central, provincial, district / city, sub-district, village to tens of homes, synergize and together create community welfare starting from the family level.
Bunda Putri also requested that the PKK cadres in their movement be carried out voluntarily, sincerely and straightly in carrying out their service to the nation and state in helping the government and synergizing in the welfare of the community and supporting the realization of the vision of the Bali Provincial Government "Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali".
PKK cadres are also expected to play an active role not only in implementing and realizing the 10 PKK Main Programs such as HATINya PKK, Posyandu but also government programs such as reducing the use of plastic waste, source-based waste management and stunting prevention. For this reason, Mother Putri invites all PKK cadres to always care about what is happening in the environment and to serve the nation and share with others.
She added, in his directive, that the Central Government and the Bali Provincial Government are currently very serious in suppressing the stunting rate. Where Bali itself ranks the lowest in stunting rates, it is hoped that in the future with synergy with the Village PKK, the stunting rate can be reduced to zero or zero. For this reason, Putri Koster hopes that expectant mothers should take good care of their pregnancy, eat nutritious food and lead a healthy life. So that the prospective baby will be born safely, healthy and can also grow and develop healthily. "I ask the PKK cadres in the village to take this seriously, to be serious in providing socialization and assistance for pregnant women and in posyandu so that in the future our children can grow up healthy and smart and we can solve stunting," She said.
In addition, Putri Koster also asked the Village Head and Perbekel who were present on the occasion to boost the implementation of Gubernatorial Regulation Number 47 of 2019 regarding Source-Based Waste Management, where according to Bunda Putri, waste problems must be resolved at the source and not pollute other villages. If this is applied consistently, a Bali that is free from waste will be realized.
Another directive she conveyed to PKK cadres in the village was to actively assist the village head in the success of village programs. "Because the TP PKK and the village head are like two flaps of wings that can make birds fly. Likewise the role of the PKK in government. Together we carry out the vision and mission for the realization of development in Bali," She explained.
In the social action activities in the two villages, in each village, 1 ton of rice was handed over with a target of 50 people @ 20 kg with the details of the recipients consisting of 10 malnourished children under five, 10 pregnant women with special energy deficiencies (KEK). ), 10 elderly people, 10 people with disabilities and 10 PKK cadres. Besides that, 80 boxes of milk were also handed over (each recipient received 2 boxes of milk) for 10 malnourished/malnourished toddlers as well as 80 boxes of milk for the elderly, pregnant women, disabled and PKK cadres as well as 50 crates of eggs @ 1 crate for the elderly, disabled. , pregnant women, toddlers and PKK cadres.
