KLUNGKUNG,Balitopnews.com - After successfully implementing it in Jembrana and Bangli Regencies, now The TP PKK Bali Province chaired by Putri Koster greets the Klungkung community in the People's Market activity entitled "Shopping and Sharing" which takes place at Ida Dewa Agung Jambe Square, Klungkung Regency on Friday ( May 13, 2022).
Arriving at the location, Putri Koster, who was accompanied by the Chairperson of the TP PKK Klungkung Regency , Ayu Suwirta, immediately bought merchandise for sale such as vegetables, fruit and other basic necessities. This was followed by the chairman and administrators of the Regency/City TP PKK in Bali. The groceries are then collected and divided equally into shopping bags and then distributed among 100 underprivileged residents.
The concept of “Shopping and Sharing” is quite unique because the goods produced by MSMEs/IKM and farmer groups are purchased by the administrators of the Provincial and Regency/City TP PKK. Furthermore, the items were distributed to 100 underprivileged residents who were brought in from all over Klungkung Regency. In addition to receiving the proceeds from the TP PKK Bali and the Regency/City, the 100 residents who attended also received gifts specially prepared by the Chairperson of the TP PKK Bali Province, Putri Suastini Koster.
In her speech, Putri Koster expressed her gratitude for the full support shown by the Regent of Klungkung I Nyoman Suwirta and the Chair of the TP PKK Klungkung so that the people's market activity this time was well organized.
She further added that the people's market activity is a form of synergy between the Provincial and Regency/City TP PKK. "Through this activity, we show that we exist and do real things, the benefits can be felt directly by the community," She said. This activity will be carried out in rotation in districts/cities until the end of the year. Informed by her, the TP PKK people's market was first held in January in Jembrana Regency. However, after that there was a spike in cases of the omicron variant of the Covid-19 variant, so the activity was paused and resumed starting last month in Bangli Regency.
In general, in 2022 Putri Koster divides TP PKK activities into two major groups. The first group is socialization activities whose implementation is adjusted to technological developments in the information sector. “In the past, socialization was carried out by going directly to the village. But now technology has become more sophisticated, we can use media such as TV, radio and other media to socialize the PKK program," She explained. In addition to the 10 main PKK programs, government programs such as efforts to prevent stunting, the environment and health sectors can also be raised in outreach activities.
Next, the activities that are included in the 2nd major group are social actions such as people's markets. She also said that people's market activities have two advantages. On the one hand, through this activity, Provincial and Regency/City TP PKK administrators can meet periodically and visit each other to host regions. "When we meet, we can share and share experiences for the progress of the organization," She said. The most important benefit is, through this activity, TP PKK can share with people in need and also help MSMEs/IKMs in marketing their products. "This people's market is like a small touch, but the benefits are extraordinary, it is felt by the community," She added while conveying that the TP PKK people's market carried the concept of 'thank you'. Provincial and Regency/Municipal TP PKK administrators receive goods from the seller by purchasing, then the goods are given to underprivileged residents who are presented at the event.
In addition to the people's market activities, the Provincial TP PKK in collaboration with the Regency/City TP PKK also carries out devotional and sharing activities which are also held in rotation. "In the activity of celebrating and sharing, we are targeting the elderly, under-fives with malnutrition/malnutrition, pregnant women with special energy deficiencies (KEK) and groups with disabilities," She said.
On the other hand, this woman who is also known as a versatile artist encourages PKK cadres down to the village level to continue to actively carry out the 10 main PKK programs, especially the HEART of PKK and character education for children. He believes that starting from the family level, the welfare of the community can be achieved. "If all mothers can carry out the PKK program well, then the PKK's vision and mission, which is to create a smart, healthy and efficient family based on noble character and character can be realized," she explained.
Not only that, She also invited the people of Klungkung to build self-awareness to create a society that is Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali. Remembering the peak of Bali's glory in ancient times also occurred in Klungkung. "So starting from here, let's return to our true identity as Balinese people.
