DENPASAR,Balitopnews.com - The Bali and Beyond Tourism Fair (BBTF) will be held again on 15-17 June 2022. Fronted by ASITA Bali, the 8th BBTF is able to bring together 181 sellers, 273 buyers from 30 countries in the world. Not only countries that subscribe to BBTF, but this tourism exhibition event can also attract several new countries to get involved, one of which is Nigeria.

With the theme of Balancing in Harmony, it is hoped that with the implementation of the 8th BBTF, the tourism industry will not only pursue the number of tourist visits but also contribute to creating sustainable tourism and giving more impact to the community.

This was also conveyed by the Vice Governor of Bali, Prof. Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati or Cok Ace “Development in Bali has so far deviated from the philosophical principles handed down by the ancestors of the Balinese people. Unbalanced between north, south, east and west. The Bali Provincial Government is currently trying to balance development in Bali, including the construction of the Denpasar Gilimanuk Toll Road. If you use the public route, from Denpasar to West Bali or Gilimanuk it takes 4 to 5 hours, with the Denpasar-Gilimanuk Toll Road it only takes less than 2 hours. This will also support the fishing industry in West Bali,” Cok Ace said

In addition, the Provincial Government of Bali is also developing health tourism, namely the construction of an international hospital located in the tourist area of Sanur. With this international hospital, it is hoped that Indonesian citizens will no longer seek treatment abroad, but can choose Bali as a treatment option while enjoying its natural and cultural beauty. This is supported by several infrastructure projects such as the construction of the 'sanur harbor' and Bali Mangusadi which is the Balinese Herbal Association.

In the future, Cok Ace hopes that Bali tourism can lead to quality tourism. Where not only refers to the number of tourists who come but also tourism that can provide broad benefits to the surrounding community.(Rls/Btnc)
