DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com -Wife's Union (PAKIS) of Traditional Village Assembly of Bali Province held a Gymnastics Competition "Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali" 

at Lila Bhuana Sports Hall, Jalan Melati Denpasar, Friday (Sukra Kliwon Tolu), November 25 , 2022.

 Gymnastics competition involved 66 teams representing PAKIS from 57 sub-districts and 9 regencies/cities throughout Bali. Each team consisting of five gymnasts showed their best performance. After going through a rigorous assessment, nine teams were selected to advance to the final whose performance was witnessed directly by Manggala Utama PAKIS MDA Bali Province Mrs Putri Suastini Koster. The nine finalists were ambassadors from three regencies, namely Badung, Jembrana, Karangasem and six sub-districts namely Susut, Tampaksiring, Dawan, Selemadeg Timur, Sukasada and North Denpasar. 

Each team showed their best ability and cohesiveness until finally Jembrana Regency won 1st place with a score of 253.9. Meanwhile, the Karangasem Regency team won second place with a score of 245, followed by Sukasada District in third place with a score of 235.5. The three teams ranked I, II and III each won cash prizes of Rp. 30 million, Rp 25 million and Rp 20 million. In addition, the three teams also received award certificates.


Greeting the participants who fulfilled the Lila Bhuana Sports Hall, Manggala Utama PAKIS Bali Mrs Putri Koster expressed her gratitude to the board members of the Regency and District PAKIS who had made this gymnastic competition a success.She said the gymnastics competition which was held for the first time was one of the implementations of the PAKIS program, in relation to efforts to make Balinese culture healthy. “Besides food, exercise is also very much needed to care for and maintain health. Incidentally, the Provincial Government of Bali has the Sat Kerthi Loka Bali Gymnastics in accordance with the current vision, that's why we are a competition," She explained.

 In addition to nourishing the public, this activity is also intended to further instill the "Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali" exercise so that it is more widely known by the Balinese people. Not only that, the competition is also a place to bring together PAKIS administrators from all over Bali so that it is hoped that this will increase the sense of community and togetherness.

 On the other hand, this woman who also serves as Chairperson  of the TP PKK Bali Province expressed her joy because the gymnastics competition received an extraordinary response. This was shown by the enthusiasm of the participants in understanding and memorizing the gymnastic movements so that they were able to show their best performance during the competition. 

Furthermore, she hopes that the team that comes out as the winner will be more intense in socializing and teaching the "Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali" gymnastic movement to the public. "Build this gymnastics, invite people ranging from children to the elderly to cultivate sports so that the health status of  Balinese people bwill increase," She said. Going forward, PAKIS Bali will continue to do and do small things with great love. "Like our slogan, PAKIS will always be satya, sadia and sayaga,"She concluded

The Chief Executive of PAKIS MDA Bali Tjokorda Istri Agung Kusuma Wardhani added, this was the first experience for his staff to hold a gymnastic competition. Through this activity, She hopes that the solidity of the PAKIS board will strengthen. Following up on the direction of Manggala Utama PAKIS Bali, the following year the competition will be held at the district/city level with selection starting from the Traditional Village. The best team from the district/city will later take part in the competition at the provincial level with a larger number of team members. The Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali gymnastics competition involving PAKIS management received support and appreciation from the Head of the Bali Province Education, Youth and Sports Office IKN Boy Jayawibawa who attended the activity. He appreciated the activities that were part of efforts to civilize sports, especially among wives. Apart from aiming to be healthy, he hopes that this activity will further instill the “Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali” gymnastics. As the OPD leader in the education sector, he is also actively promoting this exercise in the school environment.

Meanwhile, the Head of PMA Service  Bali Province, Kartika Jaya Seputra said the gymnastics competition also aims to ground the vision of the Bali Provincial Government under the leadership of the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, namely "Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali". In addition, this activity is also to maintain the solidity and cohesiveness of Paiketan Krama Wives throughout Bali. In addition to improving physical and mental health. "We hope that with this gymnastic competition we will gain health and further increase the solidity and cohesiveness of Paiketan Krama Istri throughout Bali,"  Kartika Jaya Seputra said. (Rls/Btnc)
