GIANYAR, Balitopnews.com - Development and development of tourism on the island of Bali which is also commonly referred to as the island of a thousand temples has been carried out hundreds of years ago. He conveyed this during the signing of a joint agreement and cooperation agreement between the Culture and Tourism Office of Berau Regency, East Kalimantan Province, and the Bali Regional Tourism Promotion Board, at Rumah Luwih-Gianyar, Wednesday (Januari 25, 2023) 

 

Vice Governor Cok Ace, who also serves as Chair of PHRI Bali, added that through the collaboration signed directly by the Vice Governor of Bali and the Regent of Berau, it can have a positive influence on the development of tourism in their respective regions. "We hope that this collaboration with Berau Regency, East Kalimantan, will become a bond to build tourism that is sustainable, healthy, based on the potential and character of the region. Thus, we hope that local people will not be marginalized or just become spectators when tourism has revived. Therefore "I hope this collaboration can help each other between Bali and East Kalimantan, so that it can have a good impact on the economies of Bali and Berau," Cok Ace said. On this occasion, Cok Ace who was accompanied by the Head of Tourism Marketing at the Bali Provincial Tourism Office Ida Ayu Indah Yustikarini also explained that continuous struggle and synergy with many parties is the key to good cooperation in promoting the latest existing tourist destination developers. "Currently, we are developing a tourist village destination, which is a regional development concept that makes the village a tourist destination, where proper management of all tourist attractions is expected to empower the village community itself. In accordance with the main principles in a tourist village, namely the village build," he added.

 

Regent of Berau, East Kalimantan Province, Regent Hj. Sri Juniarsih Mas said that her party was very pleased that Bali was open to cooperating with her. "With this collaboration, I hope that we can emulate the tourism potential in Bali and develop it in Berau-East Kalimantan. We are very grateful to vice Governor of Bali Prof. Tjok Oka Sukawati and also Deputy Chairman of the Bali Regional Tourism Promotion Board I Nyoman Sunarta who has allow and carry out cooperation in order to improve the quality of tourism in each region while at the same time introducing each other's potential and tourist destinations.
