Attending the AIBD Awards, Vice Governor of Bali Cok Ace Presents Award to South Korean Broadcasting KBS Station

who is familiarly called Cok Ace had the honor of handing over the award for the Best Radio Program Broadcasting Category for Peace to KBS Korea for winning its broadcast program titled To Fly Again, at the Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) Gala Dinner. International Awards at the Grand Hyatt Resort, Nusa Dua, Badung, Tuesday, (Anggara Wage, Sinta) May 23, 2023
In his remarks, the Vice Governor Cok Ace, expressed his appreciation for choosing Bali as the location for the 18th AMS Summit. "Representing the people of Bali and as the Provincial Government of Bali, we welcome the participants of the Summit to Bali. Hopefully Bali will give positive vibrations to the the success of the event, and produce programs and policies that advance the world of broadcasting throughout Asia Pacific," Cok Ace said.
Furthermore, Cok Ace also hopes that this moment can become an arena for formulating broadcast media challenges, discussing them together, and working together in handling them. "Hopefully the beauty of the landscape and nature, cultural uniqueness, and the friendliness of the Balinese people can be an advantage that continues to advance Bali tourism. And of course it can give a deep impression to the participants, so as to generate the intention to return to Bali on another occasion," Cok Ace concluded.
Meanwhile, the Main Director of LPP TVRI, Iman Brotoseno said that the AMS Meeting which was held in Bali was also part of the broadcast media's efforts to support national economic recovery, especially in the fields of accommodation, tourism and MSMEs. He also had the opportunity to promote Bali with its many advantages in front of the gala dinner participants. The TVRI Public Broadcasting Institute (LPP) in collaboration with AIBD as the host for the 18th Asia Pacific Media Summit held the AIBD International Awards as a form of appreciation for the role of the Asia Pacific media. Several award categories and winners were handed over that night, including: Best TV Program nomination for "THAILAND TODAY" broadcast by NBT THAILAND; Green Tech and Sustainability won by KBS KOREA for its program GENDER EQUALITY A REALITY; Outstanding Leadership won by H.E. Has Samath; while the Exceptional Merit Award went to Chan Vivathl; and the Strategic Partner nomination was won by KCC KOREA & KISDI MSIT. (Rls/Btnc)
