The Side Event, which also featured the Minister of PUPR of the Republic of Indonesia, Basuki Hadimuljono, was held in the ITDC area, Nusa Dua, Badung Regency on Monday afternoon (May 20, 2024)

The event, which featured 1,200 Balinese artists, was the result of a neat collaboration between the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in collaboration with the Bali Provincial Government as a procession of various Balinese arts and cultural attractions presented to the participants or delegates of the 10th World Water Forum.

Sandiaga Uno in his speech said that with the theme "Oceans Create Civilization", the 10th World Water Forum Bali Street Carnival is an effort to promote the importance of the ocean and the parade symbolizes the glorification of the sea as a source of universal prosperity and the birthplace of civilization. "In accordance with the President's direct direction, it is hoped that this cultural parade will be able to complement the happy memories of the participants or delegates who attended Bali, which has been named by the World Water Council as the best WWF organization ever,"  Sandiaga said.

Meanwhile, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, who was also present with his favorite camera at the parade, really enjoyed the parade and admitted that he had directed WWF participants to immediately move to the Bali Collection ITDC Nusa Dua area to watch the art performance. "We would like to thank Mr. Sandiaga and the Bali Provincial Government," he said.

The parade route itself starts in front of the Pasifika Bali Museum, ITDC Nusa Dua area, then passes the honorary stage in front of the SOGO Department Store and Bali Collection Department Store and ends on the road east of the Devdan Show Building. The cultural parade includes performances by local art communities from ISI Denpasar, Bungan Dedari Karawitan Studio, Gianyar Paripurna Art Studio, Pancer Langit Bali Art Studio, Kokar Bali Art Studio, Gumiart Art Studio and Gita Mahardika Studio.
