DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com. Crowded was reported in the media, hundreds of logistic drivers who would cross to Bali held a protest at Sritanjung Terminal, Kalipuro District, Banyuwangi. They protested the policy on the provision of health documents in the form of rapid tests that were considered very expensive.

The drivers went on strike and did not want to cross to Bali. They just sat and shouted in protest at the policies of the provincial government of Bali which required logistical drivers to include a rapid test if they wanted to enter Bali. Drivers closed access to the Sritanjung Terminal exit in protest.

Responding to this, Bali Provincial Secretary Dewa Made Indra said the implementation of the requirements showed a rapid test test certificate with non-reactive results for domestic travelers was a national policy as stipulated in the Circular Letter of the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency. As the Chairperson of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Number 7 Year 2020 dated June 6, 2020, and Letter of the Director General of Sea Transportation Number: Um.002 / 39/18 / OJPL / 2020 dated May 22, 2020.

According to the Chairperson of the Bali Province Covid-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling (GTPP), the Provincial Government of Bali in its efforts to control the spread of Covid-19 also implemented the same policy as the national policy, namely imposing Covid-19 free conditions for all travelers traveling to Bali .

"For travelers traveling to Bali who use air transportation mode must show a PCR test certificate with negative results. For travelers traveling to Bali using land / sea transportation must show a certificate of rapid test test with non-reactive results," he said.

This official from Buleleng explained, the implementation of the Bali Provincial Government's policy had been preceded by socialization through various print media, online, installation of billboards and sent letters to the logistics transportation association / land transportation company management and direct coordination through meetings with stakeholders at the Ketapang Port Banyuwangi.

"The requirement for a rapid test certificate with non-reactive results at the Ketapang-Gilimanuk Ferry Port has been carried out by GTPP Covid-19 Bali Province in collaboration with GTPP Covid-19 Jembrana Regency since April 2020," Dewa Indra said.

Despite his admission, the implementation of the provisions has so far been using a double standard. People traveling by using private vehicles and public transport vehicles, the rapid test is carried out independently. As for the crew of logistical transport vehicles (Driver and Conductor-ed), the rapid test was conducted by GTPP Covid-19 Bali Province in collaboration with GTPP Covid-19 Jembrana Regency.

"We have treated logistical vehicles so far because of the importance of safeguarding the logistics needs of the community, as well as the unavailability of self-test rapid services at the Ketapang Port," he said.

Dewa Indra emphasized that the implementation of rapid tests for logistical vehicle crews at the Gilimanuk Ketapang Crossing Port by GTPP Covid-19 Bali Province and GTPP Covid-19 Jembrana Regency from mid-April to June 17, 2020 had spent 44,637 pcs of rapid tests.

"All regulations relating to the travel requirements of people in the Covid-19 pandemic situation require that everyone traveling within the country or abroad must equip themselves with a PCR test certificate with a negative result / rapid test with a non-reactive result, where the test is carried out independently by travelers, not served / given / prepared by GTPP Covid-19, "Dewa Dewa explained.
