DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Bali Governor I Wayan Koster stressed that logistic transportation, including businessmen, must carry out rapid self-tests if they enter Bali. This was confirmed by Koster in responding to the news of the threat of a logistical transport driver who refused to take the test independently when he entered Bali, after a meeting at Jayasabha on Friday, June 19, 2020.

According to Koster, the rapid test at the time of going back and forth was indeed provided free services for logistical transport vehicles. For general passengers, rapid self-test must be conducted.

"The logistics are due to the connection with the basic needs of the community that we served at that time. When it was in the context of going home ( mudik).  Now the situation is no longer going home and transportation vehicles are logistics operators," explained Koster explained.

"Just to know that every day there is a minimum of 1,500 that must be submitted. The rapid test costs Rp. 135,000. If 1,000 to Rp 1.3 billion. If 1,500 becomes Rp 2 billion more every day and it is not possible to apply it for 1 day. If it continues to be enforced for how long do not know when the cessation of how much the funds are used up. In fact, what goes on is that businesspeople must pay, " Koster said.

Koster continued, his own business but the test could not be served continuously for free because the business of carrying goods sold in Bali. Must be able and rapid test if done independently is very possible only one and it takes effect a week.

"So yesterday it was not yet implemented independently. It was announced several days before, it was discussed in a meeting in Ketapang to implement a rapid test independently. So if he does not want a rapid test then he may not enter Bali like that, if you ask for tolerance do not there's more, "Koster concluded. (Gix)
