Prof. Yohanes Surya, who was present with a number of companions, explained that the GASING (Easy, Fun and Fun) learning method is a step-by-step process, which is structured in such a way that mastery of the material is built on understanding the previous material.
"The importance of this step-by-step process in the GASING method is reflected when children learn a topic, where there is a critical point that they must pass, then after reaching this critical point they will no longer have difficulty working on questions in that topic. This method is used while showing "learning videos in South Manokwari, West Papua," Prof. Yohanes explaining how the GASING method changes the mindset of learning mathematics to make it more fun.
He added that the GASING method was created to eliminate the frightening threat of studying mathematics for several students in Indonesia. Counting, memorizing formulas, and even looking at numbers make many children reluctant to learn to like this lesson.
