Bali Manpower Office Affirms LPG.3 Kg for RTS and SMEs Receiving Subsidies

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) 3 Kg is a subsidized item intended for target households and target SMEs. This was conveyed by the Head of the Bali Province Manpower and ESDM Service, Ida Bagus Setiawan in a coordination meeting with members of Commission VII DPR RI, I Nyoman Parta and Chairman of DPC VI Hiswana Migas Bali on Thursday ( February 22, 2024) morning at the Pertamina Patra Niaga Denpasar of focus.
Ida Bagus Setiawan explained that in 2024 the number of subsidized LPG quotas provided for Bali Province will experience a slight decrease compared to the previous year. The magnitude of the decline reached 0.79%. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the amount of public consumption of LPG 3 Kg continues to increase significantly. This encourages the government to be more careful in providing LPG 3 Kg subsidies. Later, to obtain LPG 3 Kg , people will be curated based on their NIK/KTP. "Data collection on purchases of 3 Kg LPG cylinders is based on NIK," Setiawan explained
The aim is to ensure that the subsidies provided are more targeted, namely for the lower middle class, especially housewives and small SMEs.
Meanwhile, in order to anticipate an increase in the amount of LPG consumption ahead of Galungan Day, Pertamina Patra Niaga has also anticipated the shortage of 3 Kg LPG by providing an additional 250,000 quota for Bali Province. The Head of the Bali Province Department of Manpower and Energy and Mineral Resources appealed to the public not to panic buy or purchase excessively. He asked people to buy according to their needs. "Buy at the nearest official base according to your needs and not excessively," Setiawan said.
