Governor Koster Clean Up Plastic Rubbish in Besakih Temple area

Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster clean up plastic rubbish  in  Besakih Temple Area on Saturday (February 2, 2019).
 
The activity is  implementation of Governor Regulation number 79 of 2018 concerning the Limitation of Disposable Plastic Rubbish.
 
To make it happen, the Governor of Bali invites all levels of society, business people, government agencies and all parties to participate in implementing the regulation so that Bali's nature and its contents remain cool, beautiful and harmonious.
 
This was conveyed by Governor Koster in his remarks at the Bali Declaration on Clean Plastic Waste, followed by the Clean Movement of Plastic Rubbish, which took place at several points in the area of Besakih Temple, Karangasem Regency. 
"This activity is very good. In accordance with the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali, which is to safeguard the sanctity of Bali's nature along with its contents to create a prosperous Balinese manners life, happy at times and unconstrained," Koster said.
 
Koster explained, Governor Regulation number 79 in 2018 concerning restrictions on the generation of disposable plastic rubbish. Aims to maintain holiness, harmony, harmony and balance of the environment and build community participation to participate in environmental protection.
 
"Thank you for the clean movement of this plastic rubbish. This activity is part of the way to make the success of the Guvernor regulation aiming to make Bali free of disposable plastic waste. I also express my gratitude for the positive response from the Balinese community regarding this regulation," Koster added. 
 
Koster accompanied by Mrs. Putri Suastini Koster, Deputy Governor of Bali Cok Ace and Mrs. Putri Haryani Sukawati, hopes that this Governor Regulation will get support from all parties so that its implementation will continue.
 
 
According to I Ketut Bagus Arjana Wiraputra as chairman of the committee for the clean movement of plastic rubbish, the activities in the Besakih Temple target as many as 21 points. The location was obtained after mapping.He also said that in the river along Goa Raja there was very much plastic rubbish.
 
"This activity was attended by 10 thousand participants, besides being a concrete manifestation of the implementation of Pergub 97 in 2018, also to welcome the Panca Wali Krama Ceremony, and we hope that during the ceremony and afterwards Besakih Temple  can be cleaned of plastic rubbish We all agree, people who is praying to Besakih Temple not to carry and use plastic, " Ketut Bagus said.
