Realizing Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali, Koster Expects UNHI's Contribution

The Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, re-socialized the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali to the people of Bali. This time the socialization in the form of a public lecture was conducted in front of the academic community of the Hindu Indonesian University (UNHI) at the UNHI Campus, Denpasar, Friday (April 12, 2019) .
 
 
 
In his general lecture, Governor Koster said that UNHI has expertise in certain fields that can contribute to help realize the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali.
 
 
 
Koster conveying in Bali development programs in the next five years there are a number of programs related to the existence of UNHI to contribute in the context of the implementation of Tri Darma tertiary institutions, especially development programs in the fields of adat, religion, art and culture.
 
The former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives added that UNHI has its own character so it must be involved in the process of formulating the implementation of policies to realize Bali in the future. "Institutionally, of course, because here there is expertise in certain fields," Koster said.
 
 
UNHI Chancellor Prof. Dr. drh I Made Damriyasa said in the vision of Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali as a vision of the next five years' development there were more programs that supported the strengthening of cultural and artistic religious traditions that were the hallmarks of UNHI. That is why the public lecture this time took the theme ‘Together with UNHI to Realize Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali ,” he added.
 
The Bali Provincial Government Expert Group Coordinator said that almost all of the development programmed by the Governor of Bali in the next five years is how to preserve Balinese culture, safeguard Bali's nature and prosper the people of Bali. "All of our study programs at UNHI are study programs that are more favorable on how to incorporate Balinese Hindu culture into all study programs at UNHI," said Damriyasa.
 
 On that occasion the Governor of Bali Wayan Koster also had the opportunity to review the Healthy Ayurvedic Griya. This Griya Sehat is a medical facility that combines Usada Bali with Ayurvedic. Even though it hasn't operated yet, this three-story building is ready with facilities and human resources for traditional medical staff and therapists.
