FPBT Will Be Held Keris Exhibition in Puri Anom Tabanan

Forum Pelestari Budaya Tabanan ( Tabanan Cultural Conservation Forum )  will be held Keris exhibition  in Puri Anom Tabanan for five days starting on Friday February 10m  2017 to Tuesday  February 14,2017. The participants come from Bali, Lombok, Surabaya, Madura, Malang and Central Java.

Chairman of Tabanan Cultural Conservation  Forum,  Anak Agung Ngurah Panji Astika, on Wednesday (8 February 2017) explains  that the purpose of the Keris  exhibition to reiterate public especially the younger generation to love the culture of indigenous peoples in Indonesia. "Do not let the valuable product of our culture is abandoned. We should adopt a foreign culture that is not necessarily in line with soul of the Indonesian people, "He said.

In this exhibition, he plans to set up 28 booths for participants. Each participants show 30 keris. Whether it old keris and has a history of high or keris that was just created. "Participants from bali who will also participate are from Denpasar, Karangasem, Klungkung. While Tabanan will be involved two keris craftsmen, "he added.
