Bangah custom village, Baturiti District, Tabanan regency held clean plastic waste on Sunday, August 13, 2017. The event towards the 72nd Anniversary of Republic Indonesia and the moment of assessment of Subak Bangah.
The event is themed "Clean and Green towards Bangah Free from Plastic waste" cooperation between bangah custom village together with STT Eka Cita Tunjung Bang Bangah, elementary school students and villagers.
The event was opened by Baturiti Chief Executive Officer, I Ketut Ridia, S.Pd, attended by members of Bali Legislative Council, I Ketut Nugrahita Pendit, S. Sos, member of Tabanan parliament I Nyoman Wirama Putra, Baturiti Village Staff, BNI Denpasar Representative, Bali Gumitir, Sony FM, Joger Luwus Friend, Secret Garden Village, Royal Tulip Saranam Resort and Spa, Uma Luang Sari Restaurant, volunteers and all Layers of Bangah and Abian Luang communities.
Ridia in the opening of the event really appreciate and support the activity. "The problem of garbage is not only solved by one party, it needs the thinking and active role of all parties. Awareness for the preservation of the real environment begins with the self in the household, and there is a shared commitment from all elements of society. Hopefully in the future such activities can be sustainable and imitated by other sub village,” Ridia said.
The head of Bangah Custom Village, I Made Sumadika conveyed the main purpose of this activity, "this event aims to educate our society which in fact is less once understanding about garbage. We really want to play an active role even in small scale echo the campaign Bali Clean and Green campaigned by the Bali Provincial Governmentn” Sumadika said. RRBNC
