Bali Wins a New, Productive, and Safe Normal Order Regional Innovation Competition; Got Rp 5 Billion Regional Incentive Fund Prizes

JAKARTA, Balitopnews.com - The Provincial Secretary of Bali Dewa Made Indra received the Champion Charter for the New, Productive and Safe Normal Order Regional Innovation Contest held by the Ministry of Home Affairs. No half-hearted, Bali won two awards at once from seven categories contested.

 

The first category, the Province of Bali won the honorary title of Champion I for the Traditional Market sector / cluster. For this achievement the Province of Bali received a prize of an additional Regional Incentive Fund (DID) of 3 billion. Bali also won Second Place in the Public Transportation Category with a nominal prize of an additional DID of 2 billion. The awarding was held at the Sasana Bhakti Praja Building C, Jakarta, Monday (June 22, 2020) handed over by the  Minister of Trade  Agus Suparmanto

 

The activities organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs are carried out based on the necessity of all parties, all groups to return to being active in the life order in all fields of activities will automatically change drastically, all fields of economic activity will be carried out in a very different way from before. So that innovation and creativity are needed so that productive economic activities continue, but are safe from Covid-19.

 

Entering nearly 4 months into the corona outbreak in Indonesia has not shown a sign of abating. Of course this requires all parties to participate in synergy to remind each other about the application of health protocols for those who are active outside the home.

Vice President Ma'ruf Amin appreciated the holding of the New, Productive and Safe Normal Order Regional Innovation Competition. "I really appreciate the initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs to strengthen the readiness of the regions to enter a new normal order, of course innovation is needed that is the key to the success of an area entering the productive and safe era of Covid-19," he said virtually.

 

"In connection with that, I really appreciate the efforts made by the Ministry of Home Affairs to provide awards and incentives at the provincial, district / city level and even underdeveloped regions. I want and I have also heard what innovations have been produced by more than 2,517 innovations in the traditional market sector, modern markets, restaurants, hotels, PTSP, tourist attractions and public transportation.All of these innovations are contributions to the regions and other economic sectors to be able to immediately prepare the normal productive and safe new order Covid-19, " the Vice President concluded

 

While the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Tito Karnavian said that as something new, this order requires an introduction or pre-conditions so that the whole community is ready and able to adapt. "This precondition is carried out with health protocols in various health sectors with simulations," he stressed.

 

Tito added that this precondition effort was initiated primarily by the Central Government through Ministries / Institutions, as well as by Regional Governments at all levels with the aim that there would be a national unity movement towards a new order.

 

"The role of regional governments is very important, because 548 LGs at the provincial level and district / city level are in direct contact with their respective communities. Therefore, the Ministry of Home Affairs together with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Covid-19 Task Force, KemenPAN-RB, Kemenparekraf, Ministry of Trade, and BNPP took the initiative to create an interregional competition to develop Covid-19 health protocols with simulations in 7 life sectors namely traditional markets, traditional markets modern, hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions, public transportation, One Stop Integrated Services (PTSP), "he said.
